Lead Infrastructure Engineer/Linux SA

Architect, build and support:

• Systems for data sharing and communication across offices and remote workers

• Application servers such as enterprise wiki, bug tracking, and support ticketing

• Administration systems for unified logins across Windows, Linux, email, VPN, and local web applications

• Source code control

• Local network services such as DNS, DHCP, firewall, VPN

• Backup systems

• Back-end of customer-facing support sites

Hardware purchasing/tracking/configuring/installation/inventory

• Vendor selection and negotiations

• Software license maintenance

QA and testing of products prior to deployment

• Documentation and communication of processes, results, and problems

• Some local Windows and office application desktop support

• On call for system support

Required Skills:

• Network security and Linux system administration

• Credential systems such as Active Directory, LDAP, PAM

• Mixed Windows/Linux/Mac administration

• Attention to detail/ Skilled project manager/Ability to communicate effectively

• Excellent shell scripting skills, at least one of Perl or Python

• MySQL administration experience (Nice to have)
