Risk Report Developer For Premier Hedge Fund

Our client is a premier multi-strategy hedge fund that currently has in excess of $15B in assets under management. Now that the market has stabilized somewhat, they have are once again producing great returns and have seen a recent inflow of new capital.

With things on the up and up, they are now seeking a skilled technologist with outstanding Cognos, VBA, and Excel experience to join their technology team as a Risk Report Developer. The core responsibilities of this role will include working with the firm's business users to create effective risk reports as well as facilitating efficient quantitative portfolio analysis. With such a keen focus on supporting key business units, this role offers great exposure to a wide-range of financial products and alternative investment approaches. In addition to the previously stated technical experience, ideal candidates will also possess previous experience within the financial services industry and strong communication skills. Some previous experience composing SQL queries is highly desirable. A computer science degree from a top college or university is a big plus.
