Storage Architect For Asset Manager - Boston, MA

Our client is an elite asset management firm located in Boston, MA that currently has over $100B in assets under management. Most of this capital is invested in long-only mutual fund products, with the remaining assets being spread across a variety of internal hedge fund strategies. Many of these investment vehicles are managed with a highly-quantitative approach, making technology an important component of their success.

We recently placed their new Head of IT Infrastructure, and soon after this individual arrived he identified a crucial need moving forward: finding a talented technologist to help spearhead their storage efforts. Ideal candidates will have 8-10 years of experience and be capable of architecting, designing, and implementing a cutting-edge storage solution capable of hosting nearly 1 Petabyte of data in a mixed Unix/Windows environment. Previous experience within financial services is a definite plus.
