Elite Developers For Hedge Fund (CT)

Our client, a successful hedge fund in CT is looking for elite developers to invent, design, and build the technology that drives the investment process. Successful developers that are passionate about technology and, of course, are superb engineers. The technical challenges span a wide range of problems – from big data to visualization to low-latency/high-performance challenges to cutting-edge software for servicing clients.

Position Requirements:

• Has a Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar degree from one of the nation’s top universities, with top GPAs and test scores. (This is a must)
• Is familiar with Object-Oriented development, with specific experience in at least one major OO language (e.g., Java, C#,
C++)
• Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures
• Is a highly intelligent and driven individual with a strong foundation of common sense
• Has a high degree of technical curiosity and a real passion for technology and solving hard problems
• Is personable, open, and engaging, with a customer-facing attitude
• Feels comfortable giving and receiving criticism, self-managing, and taking charge when needed
• Can thrive in an entrepreneurial environment that demands quick turnaround for mission critical technical solutions
