Support Developer For Major Hedge Fund

My client, an elite hedge fund based in Connecticut, seeks an extremely talented junior developer to join the support staff for their Core Technology group. The Core Technology group is the central tech organization responsible for enabling & enforcing excellent technology across the firm. Their primary role is to provide common software components (core libraries, frameworks, services, etc.) to other technology groups throughout the firm. The support team within Core Tech is charged with supporting the mission-critical services of complex, varied, portfolio of core technology assets, as well as a select number of business applications for smaller departments.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for quickly implementing tactical requests from their customer base and maintenance fixes/updates to platforms. He/she will perform business analysis, implement solutions (in code or otherwise), test and release their changes to the firm’s enterprise software platforms. Ideally this candidate will have a bachelor's degree from a top-tier university, 2 – 4 years of experience in an application support environment, and excellent communication skills. Must be able to code in C#/.NET.
