C++ Developer

My client is a NYC based financial services firm and financial news provider. Their research and development team is looking for a senior C++ developer with a background in natural language processing or machine learning & text classification to contribute to sentiment analysis & other news analytics projects. This developer will play a major role in the design & implementation of some of the most innovative & critical apps for this firm.

Qualifications:

- Strong C, C++, STL expertise
- Background in natural language processing and/or machine learning algorithms
- Mathematical background a strong plus (probability & statistics)
- Industry experience developing multithreaded applications
- Strong Computer Science fundamentals (algorithms, data structures)
- Strong communications and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL and standard RDBMSs a plus
- 3+ years of experience
