Skilled Java Developer For Cutting-Edge Startup

A relatively new client of ours is a software start-up that is headquartered in Downtown Manhattan. Their business is focused on the semantic web space, meaning that they seek to build browser plug-ins that create a more intelligent web browsing experience. Two of their most notable products include one that overlays context sensitive links on live web pages, and another that adds a social networking overlay that allows for leaving comments on web pages that are then viewable by other users. The company is still in the embryonic stage (with fewer then 10 employees building these cutting-edge technical tools) and has the backing of a well-regarded venture capital firm.

IIn order to keep things moving in a positive direction, they are now seeking to add a skilled Java Developer to their team, someone with at least three years of professional experience. Familiarity with concurrency, sockets, and Tomcat are preferred. Experience with Amazon Web Services is a big plus.
